Some of the references don't mention the Bulletin of the Iranian Mathematical Society at all, others merely include mention of it in a list, or give bare factual lists of information about it. Several of them are about people who presumably have a connection to the bulletin, but contain no information about the bulletin itself. I could give further examples of what the references are like, but that is probably enough to illustrate the point that none of them contains significant coverage of the Bulletin of the Iranian Mathematical Society itself, not merely of subjects which are in some way connected to it. (2) The draft is not written from a neutral point of view, as required for a Wikipedia article; it presents its subject in an unmistakably promotional way, in text peppered with language such as "prestigious", "impactful ", "key role", "esteemed", and so on.

Shahshahani Prize is an annual award and recognizes two selected outstanding research contributions published in BIMS from the two preceding years. Selected by the editorial board members and the editorial board prize committee, this accolade aims to acknowledge and encourage the highest quality submissions to BIMS. The selection criteria may include innovation, significance, clarity, potential impact, depth and difficulty. Professor Siavash Shahshahani, a distringuished Iranian Mathematician, completed his doctoral studies at the University of California, Berkeley, under the guidance of Fields Medalist Stephen Smale in 1969.[9] His impactful career included teaching at prestigious institutions such as University of California, Berkeley, Northwestern University, and University of Wisconsin in Madison before returning to Iran in 1974. Joining to the faculty of Sharif University of Technology, Siavash devoted his career to fostering the growth of aspiring mathematicians and nurturing generations of exceptional mathematicians, leaving an enduring impact on the Iranian mathematical community. Shahshahani's mentorship has played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of exceptional Iranian mathematicians. Dr. Shahshahani's influence extended to vital national technological advancements, notably playing a key role in connecting Iran to the internet and overseeing the registration of Persian domain names (.ir).[10]
He served as the founder of the Iranian Mathematical Society's newsletter, and contributed significantly as the esteemed editor-in-chief of the reputable publication, "Nashr-e Riazi." As the second editor-in-chief of the Bulletin of the Iranian Mathematical Society, he implemented a transformative initiative during his tenure. He separated the society's newsletter from the Bulletin, channeling the bulletin exclusively towards the publication of scholarly research papers or reviews. This led to the creation of distinct platforms for scholarly research and comprehensive coverage of mathematical developements. His strategic initiative significantly elevated the quality and impact of both publications.
