Our Story

Big Junky Junk Removal & Hauling was founded in 2023 by Nicholas Caldwell and Jalen Reaves. The young entrepreneurs originally met in 2020 while working in the janitorial department of Tampa General Hospital. They quickly bonded over their faith and interest in entrepreneurship. Reaves expressed that Big Junky materialized over countless midnight shifts pushing garbage cans through hospital halls and writing business plans on the backs of shift schedules.

Big Junky's very first job was cleaning out old furniture and debris from Reaves' grandmother's property. They quickly realized how gratifying it is to serve their community and sought to provide affordable services around the sunshine state.
