After a good ride by Tatum Bull, she ended up winning the race by 0.3 lengths. She then went to a jumpout at Mornington winning it before winning in the G3 Cockram Stakes over 1200m At Caulfield ridden by Daniel Stackhouse. Her final race in Victoria for 2023 was the G2 Bobbie Lewis Quality coming 3rd ridden by Daniel Stackhouse over 1200m being the favourite however placing behind Star Patrol and 3 time Magic Millions Series winner King of Sparta.
She then went up to Sydney to race in the Silver Eagle with a potential few other races on the card a possibility however that didn’t turn out in the owners’ favour and solely went up to race in the Siver Eagle.[5] After a trial on the Kensington track at Randwick, Benedetta raced in the Million dollar Silver Eagle at Randwick coming 4th behind Vienna Princess, Strait Acer and Godolphin horse Pericles. As per usual, Benedetta was ridden by Stackhouse being 2nd favourite for the race.
[6]Just after it arrived back in Victoria after the Silver Eagle, it was on the path for the Furphy Sprint on Derby Day before an accident involving one of Benedetta’s shoes coming off which she then trot on a nail causing a bit of the hoof to break needing to have time for it to grow back and spelled until Autumn because of it.
