Behn Gillece (born 1985) is an American vibraphonist, composer, and bandleader. Gillece often performed in Philadelphia before arriving in New York City in 2006.[1]
Gillece earned a Downbeat Rising Star award in 2018 and has led four recordings on the Posi-Tone label with tenor saxophonist Ken Fowser. Additionally, Gillece has collaborated with many artists including Michael Dease, Walt Weiskopf, Melody Gardot, and Ensemble Novo. Gillece is also an educator who teaches vibraphone and jazz ensemble at Rowan University.[2][3]
