There was no time to celebrate, since the next day early in the morning the famous 510th Mountain Infantry Brigade set out in battle formation for Sanski Most. In Donji Ramići, the Zvornička Chetnik brigade was defeated, fierce fighting also took place in the Krasulje area, and after their liberation it was Vrhpolje’s turn. The Klyuchko-San fighters returned home victorious. Sanski Most was there, right in front of them. Some time before our troops approached the Vrchpolje area, the enemy managed to mine the bridge in Vrchpolje and thereby slow down the advance of units of the 5th Corps.During the final preparations for Operation Sana 95, General Alagic was one of the members of the team that coordinated combat interaction with units of the Croatian army and the HVO. The artillerymen of the 5th Corps contributed a large share in this offensive of our forces.Fleeing from the BiH army, which was advancing towards Sanski Most, the Chetniks blew up the bridge on the Sana River between Tomina and Vrhpolje, but did not stop their furious advance. It didn't help them.Conducting constant fighting, on the evening of September 9 at about 23:30, units of the 502nd Knight Mountain Rifle Brigade and the BVP of the Fifth Corps crossed the bridge on the Sana River and entered the city center.
