Arty Froushan (April 16, 1993) is an American actor, known for his role as Jonah Breakspear in Carnival Row. He will star as Buck Cashman in the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again.
Early Life
[edit]Froushan was born and raised in Connecticut, United States. His father is the Iranian poet Abol Froushan, who emigrated to the United Kingdom, and his mother Gabrielle Froushan is French.
Froushan went to St. Paul's,[1] in London, and studied at the University of Oxford French and literature. After graduating in 2015,[2] he took acting classes at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. [3].
On television, Froushan has starred in Carnival Row since 2019 and also appeared in House of Dragon in 2022, among others. On stage, she starred in Leopold City by Tom Stoppard in 2021 in the UK and in 2022 in New York.[3]
Personal Life
[edit]Froushan has triple citizenship with United States, Iran and the United Kingdom. He resides in New York City.
