Ariska Putri Pertiwi (born 13 January 1995) is an Indonesian beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Grand International 2016. She has previously been crowned as 3rd Runner-up Puteri Indonesia 2016.^[1]

Personal life

Ariska is from Medan, North Sumatra.^[2] She attended the Islamic University of North Sumatra (UISU), graduating in 2012 with a degree in medicine.^[3]

Pageantry

Ariska began competing in beauty pageants at age 14. In 2009, she won the titles of Citra Putri Indonesia 2009, Putri Tenun 2009 and Gadis Sampul 2009.^[4]

Puteri Indonesia 2016

In February 2016, Ariska competed in Puteri Indonesia 2016, where she representing the province of North Sumatra. She achieve the position of 3rd Runner-up and Puteri Indonesia Perdamaian 2016.^[5]^[6]

Miss Grand International 2016

Ariska won the title of Miss Grand International 2016 on October 25, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.^[6] In addition, Ariska also took home the title of Best National Costume entitled Royal Sigokh by Jember Fashion Carnival.^[7]
