Ana Carolina Pereira is a Brazilian-born artist and academic, who serves as a professor at Ringling College of Art and Design.[1][2]
Early life and education
[edit]Pereira was born in Brazil.[3] She holds a bachelor's degree in game art and design from the Art Institute of Houston.[3][4]
Career
[edit]After graduation, Pereira worked as a 3D Modeling Intern at NASA. From 2015 to 2016, she served as a 3D Artist at Oncomfort.[5]
In January 2017, Pereira joined HTX Labs as a Technical Artist, and in January 2019, she was promoted to Lead Technical Artist. She remained with HTX Labs until August 2020.[3]
In September 2020, Pereira became a Virtual Reality and Game Art Professor at Ringling College of Art and Design.[3] Her work as a 3D artist has been recognized in ZBrush Summit.[3]
