Alan Lee (1978-) is the pen name of Alan Lee Janney, an American novelist. He is best known for the Mackenzie August universe, in which his novels are set Mackenzie August. He lives in Virginia.
Career
Janney was a teacher, sports writer, Young Life area director, and marketer before a chance meeting with Hugh Howey convinced him to publish his first novel in 2014 [1]. He has written both young adult literature [2] and adult mysteries/thrillers[3] . His books have been best sellers in Amazon subcategories and won multiple awards[4].
