Career
[edit]Al-Shater Bossely Abdelgelil began his career as a writer and anthropologist, studying the traditions, social systems, and histories of African societies, with a particular focus on Sudan.
He worked as a librarian at Cairo University, and subsequently as a lecturer at the University of Khartoum and Cairo University. His research interests included the relationships between people, their environments, and their cultural practices.
