Abdul Hai Palijo is a famous Sindhi travelogue writer. He was born on 31st January 1945 in village Bannu, Taluka Mirpur Bathoro, District Thatta in Sindh. He is a farmer by profession and has lands around village Bannu Taluka Mirpur Bathoro. ^[1]

He started his public life as a student political activist by being elected Vice President of Hyderabad Students Federation in 1964 and Sindh Students Cultural Organisation a student political organisation (SSCO) in 1967. SSCO was formed under the auspices of "Bazm e Sufiya Sindh". He was imprisoned twice as a political activist first in 1967 and then in 1971.

He is famous for his travelogue writing and has written 20 travelogues in Sindhi language.
