Abdul Hai Palijo is a famous Sindhi travelogue writer. He was born on 31st January 1945 in village Bannu, Taluka Mirpur Bathoro, District Thatta in Sindh. He is a farmer by profession and has lands around village Bannu Taluka Mirpur Bathoro. [1]

He started his public life as a student political activist by being elected Vice President of Hyderabad Students Federation in 1964 and Sindh Students Cultural Organisation a student political organisation (SSCO) in 1967. SSCO was formed under the auspices of "Bazm e Sufiya Sindh". He was imprisoned twice as a political activist first in 1967 and then in 1971.

He is famous for his travelogue writing and has written 20 travelogues in Sindhi language. He has also written four volumes of his Autobiography, and five other books about History and research.
