77 Diamonds is a British jewellery retailer of diamond and gemstones. Founded in 2005, the company operates online and also has showrooms in England, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Sweden and the UAE.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
Overview
[edit]77 Diamonds was established in 2005 by Tobias Kormind and Vadim Weinig.[7][8][9][10][11][12][13] The company name was inspired by the year of the first recorded diamond ring proposal when Archduke Maximilian of Austria proposed to Mary of Burgundy.[14]
The company primarily offers diamond jewellery.[15][16][17][18][19] It operates online as an e-commerce store and has physical showrooms in London, Manchester, Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Zurich, Geneva, Milan, Stockholm and Dubai.[20][21][22][23]
In 2009, 77 Diamonds opened its first physical showroom in London's Mayfair district.[24][25][26][27][28]
In 2019, the company received £650,000 in funding.[29][30][31]
