Diego Máximo Martínez (born 17 October 1995) also known by his nickname 'Chino', is a Paraguayan football Forward.

Career

Chino began his career at Caacupé FBC before joining Independiente F.B.C., where he made one appearance against Sportivo Luqueño in the 2018 Primera División Apertura. He then played for Resistencia S.C. for two seasons in 2022 and 2023, scoring 8 goals and providing 3 assists in 55 matches. In 2023, Chino joined General Caballero and competed in the 2023 Primera División Clausura, scoring 3 goals in 20 appearances. He continued playing in the 2024 Primera División Apertura, where he recorded 4 goals in 22 matches.[1]

Malut United

Malut United F.C. officially announced the signing of Diego Martínez on July 1, 2024, through their official Instagram account. Chino became the fifth foreign player signed by Malut United F.C. during their debut season in Liga 1 (Indonesia) for the 2024/2025 campaign.[2]

Chino made his debut for Malut United F.C. on August 10, 2024, in a match against Madura United. He scored his first goals for the club with a brace against Persis Solo on November 21, 2024.
