Danny Hale (born 1 July 1941) is a Northern Irish former footballer who played as a striker.
Club career
[edit]Born in Waterfoot, County Antrim, Hale played for St Malachy's, Cranburn Stars, Lisnagarvey Strollers, Cliftonville, Glentoran, Crusaders, Dundalk, Derry City and Ards.[1][2] He was joint top scorer in the League of Ireland in the 1966–67 season, with 15 goals.[3][4]
International career
[edit]He won 3 Ireland amateur caps.[1]
Personal life
[edit]His grandsons Ronan and Rory are also footballers.[5][6]
