Centreville Township is located in St. Clair County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 25,386 and it contained 10,535 housing units.[2] Centreville Township was formed from Centreville Station when it was subdivided on March 5, 1910.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 29.39 square miles (76.1 km2), of which 27.9 square miles (72 km2) (or 94.93%) is land and 1.49 square miles (3.9 km2) (or 5.07%) is water.[2]
