Category rename
[edit]This category was renamed based on Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2009_January_19#Category:Disturbances_of_pigmentation. kilbad (talk) 18:08, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- Category:Disturbances of pigmentation now also exists, since not all such disturbances are limited to humans; the human category is now a subcat of the more general one instead of a subcat of the really, really general Category:Pigmentation. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 00:03, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
Categorization of skin diseases
[edit]Skin conditions should be categorized according the the scheme developed at WP:DERM:CAT. kilbad (talk) 00:44, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- With the caveat that WP:DERM / WP:MED / WP:BIO do not have absolute control over how the editorship at large chooses to categorize articles. By all means the medical/zoological science projects should categorize disorders however they like for their own purposes, but this does not prevent other editors with other needs and interests from creating other categories and populating them with articles that also happen to fall into some of "your" categories. :-) — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 00:03, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
