This is a very imprecise category. Technically people are not killed by firearms but by bullets fired by people, unless beaten to death or a fault causing a breech explosion. RashersTierney (talk) 14:38, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I can find better uses for my time, but I'll just add that from coroner's inquests etc. it is more usual to attribute cause of death to 'gunshot' rather than to 'firearm'. Editors should be equally precise when formulating categories.RashersTierney (talk) 16:19, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
