Male artists / Woman artists

Okay why do we have Category:Male artists by nationality‎ and then a Category:Women artists by nationality‎? Shouldn't that be Category:Female artists by nationality‎?? And how do we know that they're all women? By definition wouldn't that limit the category to only adult females? Some could be girl artists too! -- œ^™ 10:11, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
