RfC: Should we use the same structure for these sub-categories?
[edit]The sub-categories of Category:Architecture by country are by majority structured Category:Polish architecture, Category:Canadian architecture, etc, while the articles are by majority structured Architecture of Ethiopia, Architecture of India, etc. Should we use the same structure for all, and if, which one is right?--Zoupan 18:33, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
- Comment: they're not the same thing. The architecture of a country is often a blend of many architectural styles, particularly for millenary nations; whereas when one refers to American architecture or Brazilian architecture one is often referring to a particular style which was created in said country and whose main proponents are usually nationals. For example, see Oscar Niemeyer versus Architecture of New York City. For this simple reason, articles and categories have no intention of being similar in format, nor should they; their functions are entirely different.
