These writers have won the Michael L. Printz Award from the American Library Association, recognizing the year's "best book written for teens, based entirely on literary merit".

The award was inaugurated in 2000 and there have been 25 winning works and 35 winning writers through 2024 (there have been two separate years where works with multiple authors have won, and A. S. King has won twice).
