From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Canadian Forces Supplementary Radio System (CFSRS) (SUPRAD), (SRS) was established in 1966 to be responsible for units involved in communications research.

Existing units in the Canadian military were retitled from Naval Radio Station (NRS) and Royal Canadian Air Force Station (RCAF Station) to Canadian Forces Station (CFS).

The Canadian Forces Information Operations Group (CFIOG) assumed the responsibilities of the CFSRS in 1998.
