Tencent Entertainment's music critic Shu Wa commented: "Magic and Castle catapulted Jolin Tsai to become one of the most successful singers in Taiwan. Seizing the moment, Universal released another greatest hits compilation at the end of 2004, featuring 29 of her previous tracks. This time, however, the compilation offered added value by including nearly all of Tsai's music videos from her time with Universal, and was released in a DVD format, which once again sparked great interest in the market."[1]
