The Blue Lake was the name given to a passenger train operated by Australian National between Adelaide and Mount Gambier, introduced in 1985 and withdrawn in 1990. [1]

History

The Blue Lake first operated on 6 October 1985 as a revamped passenger train service between Adelaide and Mount Gambier. [2] The service ceased operating on 31 December 1990 when all regional passenger train services were withdrawn in South Australia.[3]

The train was formed of Bluebird railcars.[4]
