Blistermud is an American nu metal band from Detroit, Michigan, formed in 2021.[1] They are signed to Work Shop Recordings a subsidiary Underdog Records in Detroit owned by Grayson Rupp. Blistermud was originally a duo featuring a drummer, they released one album before disbanding in 2023. The album was renamed Tapes From the Junk Drawer and labeled as a demo album. The band released their debut album in 2025 titled Anything For Nothing through Work Shop Recordings. The drummer would leave and form a band called The Custodians. Rupp would keep the band going also while recording, producing, mixing and mastering for the band along with being the guitarist, bassist, drummer and vocalist.
