Racing career
[edit]Short track racing
[edit]Lothian would get his start in racing at the age of five, racing go-karts.[1]
From 2014 to 2017, he raced in the F1 Boston Series, eventually winning the championship in 2017.[2] In the same year, he would also win the Summer 2017 New Hampshire Karting Association Series Championship.[3]
In 2019, he would spend the majority of races driving for Rev Racing, driving legend cars.[4]
NASCAR
[edit]In 2019, Lothian was announced as one of eight drivers in the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Youth Driver Development Program.[5]
On April 4, 2022, it was announced that Lothian would make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut in the No. 43 truck for Reaume Brothers Racing at Martinsville Speedway.[6][7] He finished 28th in his debut. He would return to the team for the race at Gateway, where he did not make the race. He would then run the race at IRP for the team, finishing 35th after driveshaft issues
In 2024, Lothian returned to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Martinsville again, this time with Young's Motorsports. He would only complete 17 laps before falling out with overheating issues, finishing last in 34th. Lothian was originally scheduled to attempt the truck race at Milwaukee for Floridian Motorsports,[8] although he would be replaced by Jayson Alexander days after the entry list was released.[9]
ARCA Menards Series
[edit]In 2022, Lothian would participate in an ARCA Menards Series testing session for Mullins Racing.[10]
Personal life
[edit]Lothian, in an interview with the West Georgian, revealed he has Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). His favorite NASCAR driver is Michael McDowell.[4] He graduated in the Class of 2021 at Wellesley High School.[10]
