Balesur-e Sofla (Persian: بلسورسفلي)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Aland Rural District of Safayyeh District, Khoy County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Dizaj-e Aland.[5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,053 in 186 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,309 people in 288 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,060 people in 240 households.[2]
