Baida is an upcoming Hindi-language sci-fi supernatural thriller film directed by Puneet Sharma and written by Sudhanshu Rai.[1][2][3] The cast of the film starring Sudhanshu Rai includes Manisha Rai, Shobhit Sujay, Sourabh Raaj Jain, Hiten Tejwani and Tarun Khanna in pivotal roles, along with Akhlaq Ahmad Azad and Pradeep Kabra.[4][5] The film is releasing theatrically in March 2025.[6][7]

Filming
[edit]The film, described as a sci-fi thriller set in India's Hindi heartland, was primarily filmed in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, and includes elements of the local Bhojpuri dialect and culture.[8] Local artisans and sculptors were involved in the art department to ensure cultural authenticity.[1] Additional scenes were shot in Delhi.[9] The story follows an assassin and his interactions with various characters and situations.[1]
