Arup Chatterjee is an Indian politician from Jharkhand. He is a member of Legislative Assembly from Nirsa Assembly constituency in Jharkhand representing the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation)[1][2][3][4][5]

Early life and education

Chatterjee is the son of late Gurudas Chatterjee. He completed his graduation in 1994 at BBM Asansol and later did a post graduate diploma in Business Management from IILM, Kolkata in 1997.

Career

Chatterjee first won as an MLA winning the 2009 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election and retained it in the 2014 Assembly election. He regained the seat representing the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation party in the 2024 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election.
