Anita Ontiveros (23 September 1947 – 3 January 2024) was an Argentinian television producer.

Biography

Ontiveros left Argentina in 1967, together with her husband fellow producer Horacio Lamadrid.[1] They arrived as tango dancers.[2] She later became involved in television production.[3]

She was the first female camera director in the Dominican Republic, where she lived for 56 years.[4] She worked at Color Vision, Tele Antillas, Radio Televisión Dominicana, Rahintel, Super Canal 33 among other companies.[4]

In January 2024, she died from Alzheimer's disease.[4] Her husband died in September 2024.[5] She is survived by her daughter Samantha Olivero.[6]
