Mawlānā Amir Siddique is a Pakistani Imam who served as caretaker imam at the Islamabad's Red Mosque from 2009 to 2011.[1]

In May 2009, Siddique was named on the List of people banned from entering the United Kingdom.[2] The reason for the ban is that he is "Considered to be engaging in unacceptable behaviour by fomenting terrorist violence in furtherance of particular beliefs."[1]

in 2011, He was expelled from his post by Mawlānā Abdul Aziz as a penalty for visiting Iran, with a ten-member delegation on the invitation of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he is said to have visited the mausoleum of Ruhollah Khomeini.[3]
