The 2025 season will be Djurgårdens IF's 125th in existence, their 70th season in Allsvenskan and their 25th consecutive season in the league. In addition to the Allsvenskan, they will compete in the 2024–25 and the 2025–26 editions of the Svenska Cupen, and continue their 2024–25 UEFA Conference League campaign in the Round of 16 after finishing 5th in the league phase.
