Beginning on 23 December 2024, following an attack on a Christmas market in Magdeburg on 22 December, a far-right rally began in Magdeburg calling for the mass deportation of immigrants.[1][2][3] The rally was actively supported by the AfD, which has called for more street protests.[2]
