The 2024–25 Women's Hero Hockey India League will be the inaugural edition of the Hockey India League for women. It will be held from 12 January 2025 to 1 February 2025 in the cities of Ranchi and Rourkela.[1]
On 10 April 2023, Hockey India announced Big Bang Media Ventures as its exclusive commercial and marketing partner agency.[2]
Format
[edit]The women's competition will differ from the men's, with teams playing each other twice in a double round–robin format. At the conclusion of the pool stage, the top two teams will compete in the final.

Venues
[edit]The competition will be held across two cities, Ranchi and Rourkela.[4] Majority of the women's games will be hosted at the Jaipal Singh Stadium in Ranchi, with just two pool matches played at the Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela.[5]
