American college football season
The 2016 Oklahoma Panhandle State Aggies football team represented Oklahoma Panhandle State University during the 2016 NCAA Division II football season as an affiliate member of the Lone Star Conference (LSC).[1] The Aggies were led by fifth-year head coach Russell Gaskamp.
This was the Aggies' final season competing in the NCAA as the program would return to the NAIA for the 2017 season.
The LSC preseason media poll was released on August 8, 2016. The Aggies were predicted to finish eighth in the conference.[2]
