The 1949–50 Oklahoma Sooners men's basketball team represented the University of Oklahoma in the 1949–50 NCAA men's basketball season college basketball season as a member of the Big Seven Conference. The Sooners finished the season with a 12–10 overall record, and finished tied for fourth in the Big Seven Conference with a 6–6 conference record.[2] They were coached by Bruce Drake in his twelfth season as head coach of the Sooners. They played their home games at McCasland Field House in Norman, Oklahoma.

The 1956–57 Oklahoma Sooners men's basketball team represented the University of Oklahoma in the 1956–57 NCAA University Division men's basketball season college basketball season as a member of the Big Seven Conference. The Sooners finished the season with an 8–15 overall record, and finished last in the Big Seven Conference with a 3–9 conference record.[30] They were coached by Doyle Parrack in his second season as head coach of the Sooners. They played their home games at McCasland Field House in Norman, Oklahoma.
