Éric Chéli (born 20 August 1966) is a former racing driver from Dijon in France. Chéli began his career in 1985 competing in the French Formula Renault and French Formula Ford 1600. He finished eighteenth in the overall standings with eight points in the French Formula Renault. He progressed through the ranks of French Formula Renault Turbo and the French Formula Ford 1600 before moving into the French Formula 3. He quit racing in 1991 with no likely return to Formula 3000. He now runs a large Toyota dealership in Dijon and his own garage near Chalon. Chéli also specializes in Subaru cars and has recently opened two more garages. Chéli started his business in the mid 90's after his racing career had finished. Chéli made a surprise return in 2022 in GT racing with his son Etienne and he continues to do GT racing in 2023.
