Yuri Nikolayevich Galtsev (Russian: Юрий Николаевич Гальцев; born April 12, 1961, Kurgan) is a Russian entertainer and clownery, TV presenter, parodist, singer, theater, film and television actor. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2003).[1] Art Director of the Raikin Variety Theater in Saint Petersburg.
Life
[edit]Yuri Galtsev was born on April 12, 1961, in Kurgan, Kurgan Oblast, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. His father, Nikolai Afanasievich Galtsev (1935–2011), was a director of the reinforced concrete products factory, Honored Builder of the USSR.
In 1988, he graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography, with a degree in Music Speech Estrada, where he made friends with Gennady Vetrov.[2]
