Wikipedia:WikiProject Finance & Investment → Wikipedia:WikiProject Finance and Investment – As this isn't a proper noun, per MOS:& it should use "and". Gonnym (talk) 12:10, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: It is only an WikiProject meant for coordinating among editors, not a mainspace article. WP:MOS need not apply here. Any move should be determined locally by the contributors to this WikiProject (if any). If it is inactive, and it looks like it is, then just tag it as Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Guide#Dealing with inactive WikiProjects. —CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {C•X}) 14:53, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose move. There are over 20,000 pages associated with this WikiProject, all of which will bear the old WikiProject banner with an ampersand in them. The existing title is shorter and easier to add to talk pages. Given the project is inactive, I fail to see the point of the move as it is change for change's sake and serves no other useful purpose. I still use this project's banner when I encounter articles related to banking and finance fraud. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 18:50, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: The project is not inactive and has several active users. As for the proposal, I can see the rational but I agree with CX Zoom that this does not have to follow WP:MOS and Cameron Drewe's comment about the use of the existing name on a lot of pages. If this was new project I would agree but I think we should leave the existing name unless somebody prepares a bulk replace tool to update all the existing talk pages. - Leave it up to the Wikproject members which, per Sargdub, is still active. Randy Kryn (talk) 12:22, 12 December 2024 (UTC)
