I've seen one user page which has a box saying "This user supports the Conservative Party" - obviously s/he is from the UK. I think a range of these might be useful for other UK people, e.g. "This user supports the Labour Party"; "This user supports the Liberal-Democrat Party" or "This user supports the Green Party" which I think covers all the main political parties in the UK. If one was being cynical one could say "This user supports the Labour Party but not New Labour" as well :-)

Ard0? I'm just to letting you know that the views expressed in the userbox are not formatted into a compound sentence...; let me break it up for you. "This" is an adjective modifying "user", which is the subject. "is against" is a verb phrase with "against" being an action verb. "likes" is also an action verb; "and" seperates the two verbs, which means that this sentence has a compound verb. "George W. Bush" is a direct object, as is "Democrats". The sentence does not have two independant clauses, making it simple. Now that that's out of the way, you can stop acting like you're smarter than everyone else. Pro-Choice, NOT pro-life

I was wondering if someone would make a userbox that was COMPLETELY pro-choice. The only one I found said "pro-life, and pro-abortion", with the pro-life link redirecting to an article on violence over abortion, which I do support. The problem is, it makes it sound like I'm "pro-life" in the sense that it's most commonly used. I'm pro-choice, but the links at the bottom put me in the category of pro-lifers! This user is an expert in...

I think there should be a series of userboxes, saying that a user is an expert in a topic. It would also place that user in a category. That way, if an expert in a certain topic was needed to give someone advice or clean up an article, he could be found on the page "Category:Wikipedian experts on [topic]." Flat boxes

Freesound project

Although you can't use the Freesound Project's Icon (as that is cc-by-nd [non-free]) you can use sampling.png (see below) which is almost identical but is covered by cc-by-3.0 ( = good). See Non-free Creative Commons licenses for more info.

The symbol Image:Star_wars_galactic_empire_emblem.svg is the symbol for the Galactic Empire (I feel so nerdy saying that) it sort of relates to Darth Vader (and also scales down to 16px). Request for two new userboxes

Would anybody be able to create for me, a user box that says something along the lines of "This user believes balanced nutrition is essential to human brain developement..." with a picture of vegetables on one side and a human brain on the other? Balanced nutrition would also require some meat and fish. Vegans, without supplements derived from animal matter, will undergo psychosis (from lack of B12, which can only be found in animal derived substances [B12 analogs exist in some plant species, but is not usable by the human animal], etc) and then experience cessation of life functions due to extensive malnutrition. - MSTCrow 19:19, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Tai Chi Chuan

Something along the lines of "This user practices the ancient art of Tai Chi Chuan" with possible variations for why (health etc.) or, to do it the quotation way, "This user knows the hard and strong will fall, The soft and weak will overcome them" with the link to Tai Chi Chuan from knows on. Or maybe something humorous...this user knows tai chi isn't just for old people. A picture of a practitioner doing tai chi would be best (such as this one), but I guess a Yin-Yang would work. I made a customizable, generic one, which you can add two parameters to.

This user supports {{{1}}} for President.

The first parameter is for the name of the person, second is for a custom image, omitting the "Image:" prefix. If no image is defined, the template will show a default image.

The template eliminates the need for a seperate box for each candidate (unless you really want to customize your userbox}. The UserboxerComplain/ubx 14:44, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Silmarillion High Elf Houses

For Harry Potter, there are user boxes for individual Houses like Gryffindor, Slytherin, etc. and for the Dune chronicles, there are user boxes saying "this user serves House Atreides", "this user serves House Corrino" etc. etc. Can somone put together a userbox system, for Silmarillion fans, which has separate user boxes basically saying:

I have some ideas, but I can't think of images to go with them. Check these out:

"This user is a Pokémon Creationist and believes that Arceus is the creator." (Perhaps the number 493, to signify Arceus' NatDex number)

"This user is a Pokémon Evolutionist and believes that Mew is the origin." (Perhaps the number 151, to signify Mew's NatDex number)

"This user is a Gym Leader." (Perhaps a generic badge)

"This user uses Ubers in WiFi Pokémon battles." (Perhaps the number 670+, to signify an Uber's typical Base Stat Total value)

"This user condemns those who use Ubers in WiFi Pokémon battles." (The number 670+ crossed out)

Sranan Tongo

Please help! Would someone be so kind as to put together a simple language Userbox for the creole language Sranan Tongo? If one were to exist I would use it, as it is a second language to me. Since this is a language related Userbox request, there would ultimately need to be several versions of it, but for now can we start with the Native one? It would need to read "Disi sama kan taki bun Sranan Tongo" (This person can speak Sranan Tongo well) or "Disi sama sabi taki Sranan Tongo bun" (This person knows how to speak the Sranan Tongo language well) or just simply "Disi sama sabi Sranan Tongo" (This person knows Sranan Tongo). Circus Skills

Hi! I've been trying to figure out how to make Userboxes but I'm not quite sure. The wikipedia explanation isn't completely clear about where and how to save these things. But anyway, I know there is already a userbox for juggling under a section of circus skills. I think there should be a userbox for fire-eating, one for poi and one for acrobatics.
