Death of Aldus Manutius
[edit]500 years since the death of Aldus Manutius. Article is in good shape, he's widely recognized as an important figure in early publishing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Robert.Labrie (talk • contribs) 14:41, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
- Article is very under-referenced. Whole paragraphs lack citations. I've tagged it with {{ref improve}} which, as an orange-level tag, means that it can't appear on the main page through OTD until proper citations are added and the tag is removed. Whether his death warrants a mention in OTD is another matter, which I would leave to others to decide. BencherliteTalk 15:30, 26 January 2015 (UTC)

Last minute request for centenary of British womens' right to vote
[edit]I've just realised that 6 Feb is the centenary of Britsh women gaining the right to vote. I've just updated the entry on 6 Feb page to say
- 1918 – British women over the age of 30 who meet minumum property qualifications get the right to vote when the Representation of the People Act 1918 is passed by Parliament.
Any chance of getting this on tomorrow or there could be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth? :-) Richerman (talk) 20:16, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Richerman: Sorry, there are too many {{cn}} tags in there (relative to article length). —howcheng {chat} 07:42, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
