PanTerra Networks
Disagree that PanTerra Networks is a non-notable company as it has received numerous awards in it's sector and has been featured in numerous articles along side it's competitors. A cursory internet search would reveal this. If PanTerra Networks is deemed non-notable so should it's competitors, such as Ring Central, 8x8, etc that also have pages which have not been proposed for deletion. It seems likely that this deletion was proposed by someone closely related to a competitor of PanTerra Networks. -Nsbendel (talk) 23:40, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
- Not done While this was a PROD and we normally restore those upon request, the article is very promotional in tone and would need a re-write to remove the WP:WEASEL words and WP:PUFFERY. I have no problem e-mailing a copy of this out to you, Nsbendel, but this will require you to enable your e-mail. However I would like to ask that you assume WP:GOODFAITH here. (Also be careful, as accusations of bad faith and WP:COI can cause others to ask if you have a COI.) It's very unlikely that this was done by a rival of PanTerra Networks as the editor who PRODed the article has been here since 2006 and I don't see anything in their edit history that would immediately suggest a conflict of interest. I also need to caution you that the existence of other articles on Wikipedia does not guarantee that every company passes notability guidelines. (WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS) It may be that the other companies fail notability guidelines and haven't been deleted yet. As far as industry awards go, be cautious of these since the majority of industry awards for any given company will not count towards notability on Wikipedia. The amount of awards considered to be notability giving (regardless of what they're for) are actually pretty few in number and I like to say that Wikipedia considers less than 5% of any award ever given to be notable ones. One of the best ways to show notability for an award would be to show where the award is covered in independent and reliable sources like newspaper articles and the like. (You will need to have these in general for the article to show it passes WP:CORP.) Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 07:32, 7 October 2015 (UTC)
- Understood. I've enabled email. Can you please email me the content and I'll see what I can do about rewriting it to sound less promotional and include source to satisfy notability requirements. Thank you Nsbendel (talk) 17:17, 7 October 2015 (UTC)

- Not done This isn't really a request to restore as much as it's a question about where to post material that was deleted at Lukup. - Not done Shoaib Subhani, the articles were deleted because you did not assert how the person (presumably yourself) was notable. Please understand that Wikipedia is not a social media site and all biographies must assert how the person is notable per WP:GNG. That you tried to create this at multiple different locations (Shoaib Khalid Subhani, Shoaib subhani, Shoaib Subhani) isn't helpful, as this can be seen as disruptive. Please do not re-add this information to the mainspace. You can add some information to your userpage, but it should only contain information about yourself as it pertains to your editing on Wikipedia. In the meantime I would recommend that you visit WP:TEAHOUSE and go through one of the training programs (WP:ADVENTURE, WP:TRAINING) for a good overview of Wikipedia's guidelines and policies. The reason for deletion of the submitted article concerning Rational Value was that there was no recognition or authority for use of the term beyond my having coined it and including it and its explanation in my book, "Take Stock: A Roadmap to Profiting from your First Walk down Wall Street (First published by Kaplan and now in its third printing, as well as having been published in Japan).
There is now acknowledgement and acceptance by the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII) who have just published an article I have written in their October edition of their publication, the AAII Journal. You will find a pdf file of their website and page offering this article as well as a copy of this article in a .pdf file you may access here.
I respectfully request that the article that was deleted be reconsidered for inclusion in Wikipedia. Thank you for your attention to this matter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by EllisTraub (talk • contribs) 04:47, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
- EllisTraub, the userspace article has been restored. If you want this term to be considered for mainspace acceptance then you will need to resubmit this to AfC. However I do need to point out that someone publishing your work does not make the concept notable. What you need here are reliable sources that talk about the topic. Anything that you personally publish will be considered a primary source regardless of how much is published or where. I also have to caution you that Wikipedia is not a place to promote, popularize, or otherwise raise awareness for your work. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:27, 9 October 2015 (UTC)

InGiustizia La Parola al Popolo - Request for Undeletion
InGiustizia La Parola al Popolo is an independent monthly e-bulletin adherent to Italian National Association of Forensic Press, founded in 1975 by the Attorney Romolo Reboa.
The magazine was born from an editorial idea by Att. RomoloReboa, who, together with a group of colleagues and friends: Att.Francesco Rocca, journalist and deputy editor in chief of the online coordination of Rainews and professor of multimedia journalism at Rome's University Lumsa; Dr.Fausto Pellegrini; Att. and trade Unionist Peter Masetti engaged for years in social work as a trade union's leader and spokesman for the discomfort of the weakest of Italian society and Dr. Alberto Passibli decided to create the e-bulletin as a way of informing jurists at the Italian courts.
The title itself, La Parola al Popolo (i.e The Word to The People) summarizes an intellectual and generational compromise between different kinds of spirits, changing the way Italians intends social policy.
Quoting the famous Italian singer Rino Gaetano, this idea is summed up in a verse of one of his most world-famous songs, "Who lives in the cabin, who run after wages / lovers love, the firer to target those who eat once, who wants to increase / who changes the boat happy and contented but the sky is always bluer "(Rino Gaetano - 1975's song which has been contemporaneous with the birth of the magazine).
The focus of the magazine has then been directed over the years to issues of rights and liberties as well as justice and home affairs in Italy and abroad; institutional issues and the operational phases of the PA (i.e. Public Administration), the evolution of law and issues related to the core activities of law firms.
InGiustizia La Parola al Popolo is not directly linked to any political ideology and / or party. It has an independent character aimed at informing forensic Italian class with particular attention to social and economic issues in the various phases of the litigation process. It is an integral part of Services' Company InGiustizia Servizi Ltd and aims to analyze with the scientific rigor of the lawyer, issues of law and freedom. The scientific approach and the logical rigor forms the basis of the magazine.
Main objectives of InGiustizia La Parola al Popolo are: to inform and to educate Italian jurists by acting as a platform of communication between the various realities which exist in the Italian legal landscape, following through its journalistic activities the key principles of advocacy, namely, transparency and fairness of professional relationship.
InGiustizia La Parola al Popolo, acts as an exchanging forum of dialogue between the lawyers, the citizens and involved institutions.
Numerous workshops and seminars throughout the year in partnership with the Italian Consumers' Association Insieme Consumatori, acting as a guarantor of the interests for citizens and consumers ==

- If you think these individual events have notability in themselves and the AFD was wrong then be bold and do it yourself. - @Clive sweeting: Not done - this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nikolaos Xenakis, it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, user Sandstein (talk · contribs). After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review. McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 16:02, 12 October 2015 (UTC)

The page was under review, I was asked to provide further references and state my case, and that this would take place over 7 days. I did, nobody responded, I received no notifications, and then the page was deleted. Completely unreasonable and rude to request this from me if there was no intention to even review or discuss. -Dcanders88 (talk) 11:18, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
- This was discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Simon Jersey. This page suggests two possibilities for you, restore as a draft, draft:Simon Jersey or as a userspace draft at User:Dcanders88/Simon Jersey. Of which of these options are you wish to avail yourself? Graeme Bartlett (talk) 12:16, 12 October 2015 (UTC)

- @Dcanders88:, I'd probably recommend asking Sandstein before moving it to the mainspace, just because that would help ensure that it didn't get deleted as a recreation and that the sources did show notability. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 08:28, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

Mishal Kanoo
This article was already contested for undeletion and was primarily restored. More citations were added to the content to support the veracity of the details, but again deleted. We don't see any advertising as according to your claims. Everything stated were purely facts. Mishal's involvement in some organizations mentioned were merely coincidental and not intended for advertising purposes -86.98.86.230 (talk) 05:35, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
- "His wide-ranging knowledge of regional business affairs and global capital markets give him unique and often controversial insight into business life in the Gulf region."
- This is very promotional in tone and there are several more statements in the article. You'd need to really go over this with a fine toothed comb in order to remove all of the WP:PUFFERY. RHaworth may be willing to e-mail a copy to the account e-mail for Mishal Kanoo if it was enabled and you promised to work on this at WP:AfC rather than in the mainspace. I would also encourage that you go through WP:TRAINING or WP:ADVENTURE and absolutely utilize WP:TEAHOUSE during this, since I get the strong impression of a WP:COI here. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:56, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
Kindly restore the page and remove only the phrases that you have mentioned, instead of removing the entire page. We will work on this progressively. Deleting the entire page requires us to start from scratch over and over again which is completely a down time.
- The problem with this is that it's not as simple as removing just the phrases listed here - the promotional content is very heavily mixed into the article as a whole and removing it would require that I re-write it as a whole. I'm willing to help, but I'd prefer that you do the re-writing to start with, as this would help you learn the processes of writing. I'd also recommend that you go through WP:AfC if/when you do submit a new version. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 08:37, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

This image was replaced by the current image. However, I found out that the current image is of a promo CD. I don't know what this image was, but I hope it's the same as this commercial CD. -George Ho (talk) 02:36, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- George Ho, it's largely the same image but with the name of the single on the side rather than on the bottom. The current image is of better quality, but doesn't have the side bar with the single information. I can restore it, but the quality of it is pretty poor and everything has this huge pink tinge to it, like Mariah was a muppet or something. This is probably why someone tried to replace it. I'd probably recommend just uploading a new cover image, but I can restore it if you want to take a look. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 03:25, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

The file was deleted via CSD under F7 on the assumption that the article Jennifer Teege was about the author, not about the book pictured. Guru Nanak FC
Hi, I would request that the page I created for Guru Nanak FC (Football Club) could be restored. I am a senior maember of management within the club and was requested by the club chairman to create the Wikipedia page to broaden our online pressence, due to Wikipedia's huge repuation and brand. We are the largest multi cultural club in the UK and have a huge following, both in person and online. All of the information used on the created page was taken and can be verified from www.gurunanakfc.co.uk. We are currently members of the Kent County League, which has it's own wikipedia page, as do many of the member clubs. I would be very grateful if you could re-instate the page/article. Thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Samyoung100 (talk • contribs) 13:37, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- @Samyoung100: Not done. Wikipedia is not here to help clubs to broaden their on-line presence. The inclusion criterion is called Wikipedia:Notability and looks for references showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." The test is, have people independent of the club thought it important or significant enough to write substantial content about?
- Also, as a member of the club you have a Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and should not write about it directly; see also the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide.
- If you can find references showing significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources, you can ask user Sphilbrick (talk), the deleting administrator, whether he is willing to restore the article into a draft page where you can work on it, before submitting it to an uninvolved user for review. JohnCD (talk) 20:01, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- I'm very willing to restore it to a draft page, but I note the clear conflict of interest, which is already reported means you should not be editing it. If you are not going to edit it who will? I don't want to waste your time. If the article is restored to a draft page and only you work on it, it is unlikely to ever be accepted.--S Philbrick(Talk) 20:06, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- @Sphilbrick: my reading of WP:PSCOI#Advice #6 is that it's OK for the club's representative to edit a draft, provided it is submitted to independent review through AfC and not moved directly to mainspace. If it is actually notable there is no reason why an article might not be achieved; my concern is that they should not waste their time by failing to understand what we require for noatbilty. JohnCD (talk) 20:51, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- Fair point. If a COI editor writes a draft that meets notability requirements, I suppose it can be moved into mainspace. I'm thinking that they aren't supposed to be editing the article itself but I guess the distinction is that it is reviewed by an independent editor before moving into mainspace and thereafter they should not continue to edit it. However, I am mildly worried that an article almost totally written by a COI editor might be difficult to get through AFC — I confess they do not do any reviewing at AFC so perhaps it will get accepted eventually. I just don't want to leave the impression that if a COI editor is the sole editor of an article that there will be no issues getting it into mainspace. I'm just trying to manage expectations. If they meet the notability requirements it ought to make it in, but I don't want to leave the impression that if they work on it in draft space it'll inevitably get in.--S Philbrick(Talk) 21:03, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
