Reason: To insert Semi-Protection as the page is about the Prime Minister of Mauritius and repeated edits by users some with unreliable sources and stated in a negative style than the original sources. SwiftReader1994 (talk) 07:34, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- Automated comment: A request for protection/unprotection for one or more pages in this request was recently made, and was denied at some point within the last 8 days.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 07:44, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- As the editors who seem to be going back and forth on this are mostly extended-confirmed, only full protection would have a chance to work and we rarely impose that for very long. I also note that no one's using the talk page ... we do like to see that you've taken that route.
If you want full protection to force discussion on talk, let us know. Daniel Case (talk) 21:01, 21 November 2024 (UTC)

Reason: The vast majority of recent edits have been IP-based changes that require reversion. This could be considered as the current protection level working as intended. But would it be sensible to increase further?Chumpih t 10:07, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- Not done. I think pending changes is working as intended. Isabelle Belato 🏳🌈 18:51, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
Reason: I request extended confirmed protection. This is a high-profile article, and comparable articles (e.g., on American politicians) tend to have extended confirmed protection. We are experiencing issues with new editors, with telling usernames like "MaralagoPawn," who have a limited understanding of Wikipedia's processes and are making unilateral changes to a decade-old stable version of the lead without consensus. Tataral (talk) 12:27, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
Reason: Requesting semi-confirmed protection IP keeps adding "Possible matches" which goes against MOS:FORMAT and Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Style guide even when it's removed the IP keeps adding it. Temporary semi-protection: Persistent sockpuppetry – Ongoing spam of https://s.mcd-menu.org from an apparently Philippines-based sock farm, per Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Royox32/Archive#20_November_2024. Belbury (talk) 14:51, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- Semi-protected for a period of 2 weeks, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Isabelle Belato 🏳🌈 19:34, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- User(s) blocked: Cosakap301 (talk · contribs) blocked by Daniel Case. indefinitely as another Royox32 sock. Daniel Case (talk) 19:39, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
Reason: Frequent vandalism due to name change. Jor langneh (Talk) 16:48, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Not showing as much of it today as in the recent past. Daniel Case (talk) 20:00, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent addition of unsourced or poorly sourced content – Persistent, on-going history of unsourced content being added to article by anonymous editors. livelikemusic (TALK!) 17:04, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Daniel Case (talk) 20:01, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
Reason: This new article is getting a very high number of views and edits, many of the edits have been made by IP editors and there has been a lot of vandalism. Everyday I have seen a dozen edits to the page, half of which are reverted by someone. It warrants auto-confirmed protection. 𝙏𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙢𝙖𝙣地形人 (talk) 17:09, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Despite how high profile this is, there appears to be very little in the way of vandalism. Isabelle Belato 🏳🌈 18:46, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- "Very little appears to be vandalism" Are you sure about that, there are dozens of edits in the past couple days which have been reverted. 𝙏𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙢𝙖𝙣地形人 (talk) 19:06, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
Temporary full-protection: I'm personally not involved in the content dispute of this article but I noticed that there has been a long-term edit war about the number of episodes. What is even most disturbing is that one of the editors has been disrupting the talk page of the article by either deleting or modifying the comments of other users simply because he doesn't like them. I think a full page protection should be applied until the two parties come up with some sort of consensus. 76.65.74.70 (talk) 20:15, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- I'm going to recuse myself from taking any action here because one of the involved users is someone I have recently been highly critical of to the point that I cannot see any action I take here or suggestions I make being regarded as impartial. Daniel Case (talk) 20:23, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Disruptive editing relating to image from an IP, in violation of WP:GS/RUSUKR. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 20:45, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
Semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Persistent IP disruption, attempting to change the result from "Inconclusive" to "Persian victory". HistoryofIran (talk) 20:46, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
Semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Lots of problematic edits these past months for a subject that really isn't that controversial (at least compared to other topics). And it's an FA article too. HistoryofIran (talk) 21:02, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
