Event details
[edit]Women, trans, two-spirit and non-binary researchers in STEM regularly suffer from gender-based harassment and exclusion, a phenomenon that is reflected in their under-representation on Wikipedia. The University of Waterloo Library is hosting an edit-a-thon to improve the representation of women, trans, two-spirit and non-binary researchers in STEM fields as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence events taking place on campus.
Please join us at the Dana Porter Library in the FLEX Lab on December 8, 2017 from 12:00 – 1:30 pm to participate in person or contribute virtually from a location of your chosing.
On-site and virtual attendees are welcome! Join the event dashboard using the passcode STEM.
