Have you seen ...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/rd/blog/2013/11/speakerthon-uploading-voice-samples-from-the-radio-4-archive-to-wikipedia It looks like something CSPAN could do as well. Smallbonestemp (talk) 17:10, 20 November 2013 (UTC) (no idea why)

- Hi there, Smallbones! This is a really interesting project by Andy. I've been looking for ways to see how C-SPAN's vast archive could benefit Wikipedia—I wonder if this is maybe one. I'm going to look at this more closely, and think about how I might suggest it. Will let you know if I have any questions for sure. Cheers, WWB (talk) 21:45, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
- I'd ask the DC chapter if they want to sponsor a "clip-a-thon" and maybe even buy lunch. If you want to top the Brits, maybe you could go with video clips, e.g. if the floor sessions are PD (or could be freely licensed), we might be able to get a 15 second clip of every Congressman from the last 30 years speaking at the Capitol. Maybe SlowKing might be interested as well. Smallbones(smalltalk) 22:05, 20 November 2013 (UTC)

Get your cameras ready! Christmas in Oregon and PDX Pods
This month, WikiProject Oregon features two photo campaigns:
The concept is simple: upload photos of these two topics and share your work! Whether you upload one or one hundred, these images will help capture the culture of our state and illustrate Wikimedia projects. Have fun, and happy holiday season!
