The editor's statements are simply not true - the reference is not ONLY YouTube, it's also the independent streaming platforms. I don't like hearing what he don't like, you do understand? If you want to be addressed respectfully, you yourself need to act in such a way. Don't sell me garbage about constructivness if you shit upon others. Don't address me like a deity, because you won't like my answer (because I don't tolerate such misbehaviour), and Wikimedia can suffer financial losses because of such behavior.
