As I create recently deceased person regularly I have to say you, in Indian subcontinent recently deceased persons' different ages finding is a very common thing in this part of the globe. As there is clear mention of his birth date in reliable sources, please don't remove birth date and age. Happy editing!S. M. Nazmus Shakib (talk) 14:18, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@S. M. Nazmus Shakib: Please wait before add birth date & age again. Because His birth date has different in different newspaper. You can search on google আব্দুস সোবহানের মৃত্যু by this keyword & click few reliable newspaper link. Then you can understand it. Because many reliable newspaper like prothomalo, dailyamader somoy, bangla tribune, daily star & other newspaper seen his age respectively 80, 83, 84, 86 etc. So, I avoid this problem I were removed his birthdate. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Love Point, Bangladesh.jpeg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Love Point, Bangladesh.jpeg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 16 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Alivardi. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Mir Jafar, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Alivardi (talk) 17:43, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Alivardi: Dear, Mir Jafar was an arab descent. See at Britannica and Banglapedia. He did not born in bengal, I hope you will be remove the birthplace from article. But, I was read of my textbook he came from Iran in Bengal. So, I added his birthplace name Iran. Thanks. — Riaz (talk) 17:57, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You've been a Wikipedia editor long enough to know that you can't change content without giving a reliable source. Also, I don't see the relevance of him being of Arab descent if you're saying he was born in Iran.
Alivardi (talk) 18:15, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Alivardi: Dear, I know a wikipedian can't change content without giving a reliable sources. But, I was read of my textbook (National Curriculum and Textbook Bangladesh, Bengali 1st part book, class 11-12) he came from Iran in Bengal and I added this on article with {{cn}} tag. Though, I can't give a direct link with this information and another editor didn't give direct link. So, I hope you will be remove it. Thanks — Riaz (talk) 18:29, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Since the citation template has only been there a few days, I wouldn't normally remove it this soon. However, since I can't find any mention of him being born in Bengal, I think this can be an exception. As a side note, I'm seeing a lot of sources mention that his grandfather, Husain Najafi, had served Aurangzeb, so it seems likely that Mir Jafar was born somewhere in India, not in Iran.

Regarding misleading and offensive remarks

[edit]

Hello,

I just wanted to bring this to your attention that one of you user account had edited the national Portugese FC wikipedia page with very disgusting change. Cristiano Ronaldo is a legend both on club and international level, and someone had the audacity to put up the national team's captain name as "Cristiano Penaldo"?? This is very disappointing how poorly you have allowed your trusted users to disrespect a public figure. Please make the changes as soon as possible as this is very unacceptable and pathetic.

Thanks !!! 2600:1700:61F0:1600:D161:E17C:EBF1:6160 (talk) 10:37, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Protection has already been added to the article to temporarily prevent destructive editing. Hope you understand, thank you. Riaz (talk) 11:30, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
