Mostly Harmless: explanation.
[edit]I understand why you changed this. Wikipedia does know what a trilogy is: what is not explained here is that part of the "in joke" of the description is that the "trilogy" ended up with more than three books. "Mostly Harmless" was subtitled "The fifth book in the increasingly inaccurately named Hitchhikers Trilogy".. If you reply with "well that should be explained" then I would say quite possibly, yes. So long and thanks for all the fish. Britmax (talk) 09:06, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for November 10
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Epidemiology of obesity, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page BMI. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The Raven – Legacy of a Master Thief
[edit]Hi Repku. Draft:The Raven – Legacy of a Master Thief looks fine! I think you could move it over to article space with no problems. You should look into filling out the citations with a citation template, but it's fine regardless :) Sam Walton (talk) 10:27, 13 September 2015 (UTC)
- Bit of a problem with that. I went to make that article, actually, but it seems its on the blocklist. I couldn't really find any information as to what exactly happened. I think my sources sufficiently show the relevance of the game. Now, if it doesn't, I do want to emphasize that I have no real stake in that article or the game itself. I just wanted to make a gaming article and it seemed like making that article wouldn't be a horrible boring task for me to do. I only say this because me prolifically editing an article has lead to situations where people think I'm truly invested (and its been used in debates as a bad defence that worked and some other situations where people assume I care leading to bad results). Repku (talk) 22:04, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
- Any way, my main point here is that I want to be sure if there was any reason it was on that blocklist. It seems like a fairly extreme/unusual measure, so I want to be sure. Well, that and I'm not sure if I can actually make the article.. (Unless I'm forgetting something; Looks like I might be able to do it by just directly making an article on Wikipedia then deleting the draft manually, but if that's the case - which I doubt it is - it would obviously be a work-around and I'm not going to attempt that until I understand this better). Repku (talk) 22:15, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
- Hm, I can't see anything for it in the blacklist, but I suspect it has something to do with the dash you used for a technical reason or another. Try with a colon instead, moving the article to The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief. Sam Walton (talk) 08:10, 15 September 2015 (UTC)
- Actually, that title is proper after all. I knew there was something wrong with that hyphen. For some reason, I made the assumption the draft name was the officially correct name. So, after a terrible and embarrassing series of absent-minded mistakes I some how managed to make in moving the page, the article is now created. (By the way, I think you were right about the technical thing; Somewhere along the lines of that horrible series of mistakes, I found that the error was still happening with the hyphen, but not without it. Funny thing). Repku (talk) 09:32, 15 September 2015 (UTC)
