Brazilian President Names

Hi, I noticed you have been editing the way brazilian presidents are mentioned. In the English Wikipedia, these should reflect how they are referred to in English language sources.

  • FHC is usually referred to as Fernando Cardoso and President Cardoso: [1], [2], [3].
  • Lula is usually referred to as President da Silva and ex-President da Silva: [4], [5], [6]

Wikipedia naming convention, MOS:NAME, asks that repeated mentions of the person in an article use the last name (Cardoso for FHC, da Silva for Lula, though Lula's nickname is a special case).
