Fair use rationale for Image:Timthetoolman02.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Timthetoolman02.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 22:02, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Mike russell

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Mike russell requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. March 2008

[edit]

Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Image:Miranda-cosgrove-5.jpg. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. You were not truthful about your ownership of this photo. NrDg 01:45, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

You have been claiming, "I have all rights to upload this image. I hereby release into the public domain." This is blatantly false for most or all of the images you have uploaded. As such, it appears that you are deliberately placing Wikipedia in legal jeopardy and you have been blocked until you can provide a reasonable explanation for your actions. When you can do so, use the {{unblock|Your explanation here}} template. --Yamla (talk) 01:47, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Drake & Josh Title Card.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Drake & Josh Title Card.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 20:44, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (File:ICarlylogo2.jpg)

[edit]

You've uploaded File:ICarlylogo2.jpg, and indicated that it's used under Wikipedia's rules for non-free images. However, it's not presently used in any articles. Wikipedia policy requires that non-free images be either used or deleted, so if this image isn't used in an article in the next week, it will be deleted.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:00, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
