Amerianada
[edit]howcheng {chat} 20:03, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
My apologies for thinking this was a joke article. However, a micronation in and of itself is not notable enough for an article. If the information can be verified from reliable sources, then please be sure to cite those sources when you re-create the article. Sealand and the Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands are two examples of micronations that received widespread press coverage, which is why those articles are allowed to stay. However, if your intention is to publicize Amerianada, then please see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, specifically, "Wikipedia is not a propaganda machine." On that page, it also states that "Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information," and therefore your feeling that "Wikipedia is a place where we can share information, on everything appropiate" is not necessarily true. Lastly, articles should be able to stand on their own merits. If you can't finish it all in one go, please start it as a user subpage (for example, User:Kstephent/Amerianada and then move it to Amerianada when it's ready to go. Hope that helps.
